Gardening. My true love right now. Christopher, Stefan and I put in the apple trees we ordered from Pennings. And have to pluck the fruit off first year before it grows. Eek! That is to ensure the root system grows strong. Then it was more prepping the decks and dock, cleaning out pots, cleaning off furniture, bringing everything out again. The days are full!
Beloved Honey Crisp apples! I have wanted these on a property I own for some time!

My how our garden grows.
oh yikes! i remember hearing that as well in the past when i had a mini apple tree. this year the directions didnt say to pull the fruit flowers. in fact the tree came with apple pie recipes! haha so i just left them all on. all the flowers are gone now and you can see some are turning to apples and some are not. sometimes i find two or so that have fallen to the ground but a good 12 or so are going strong. growing every day more and more. so fast. i took photos over the weekend. so exciting. i wonder if i screwed it up now though for following years. time will tell. 🙂 x
