We arrive in Palm Springs for Coachella. The winds are so unruly that Coachella is closed for artist camping (the whole festival is closed) until the morning. The crew picks us up in the RV and we go on a thrift store and Trader Joe’s binge. And to the grounds to collect our wristbands so we can avoid the lines. Then drinks and to bed early. Heading in at 8am. Balloons in air by 3pm. Yes, it’s on!

We stay at a hotel with hot springs in Indio. Happy to see green energy prolific here! Last time I was in Palm Springs area was spring break in high school. None of this existed then.
Wacky thrift store warehouse. Everything is one dollar and splayed randomly on tables. It’s one big treasure hunt and all eight of us in the RV are in. Stefan finds a Santa hat.

We slept in a tent. That was the camp RV (others did sleep in it though.) Was mostly junk in that place, but if you had patience you could find things! Lots of characters in there!
