We arrive in Paris. We are staying in Le Marais at a very well-designed but small hotel called the Snob Hotel. When in doubt, pinky out. I quite like its design aesthetic. And it is well-located, just near the Pompidou.
The boulangeries infiltrate the air. It is all immediate and beautifully assaulting. Paris takes your nose and eyes hostage. We arrive kind of jet-lagged as it was a red eye. And my luggage was lost. But it is still grand right now. We stumble upon a vegan French restaurant named Le Potager du Marais. We are in. Gimme that Rose de Provence and faux gras! And it became crowded as we approached dinner hours.
Just look at that vegan yumminess. And with s good loaf of bread. It was so delicious.
And this baked loveliness with raspberry compote. YUM.
It’s so cute in our neighborhood. Look at this gorgeous hand-painted storefront. Paris is the most beautiful city in the world.
We go shopping and I get a new red dress since I have no luggage…ah the benefits of misfortune! And we do an Airbnb experience, where our tour guide drove around in one of his 10 old cars. We got the Mercedes because some of the others leak and it was raining. What a lovely tour around Paris and a great way to get our bearings!

We visit Place de Vosges. It’s quiet and lovely strolling. Time has stopped. The world is ours.

This artist, Carole Feuerman, had a piece along here. We saw her large scale work on Lafayette a couple years back.
And then our tour was complete and the driver gave us macaroons. Now time to wander and find a bar.

Then it started to rain again. Pick a bar, any bar, to whittle away time. It’s all good. Lovely Rosé, people watching, giggling, love. We sat here a couple hours. Paris is the best. Ooh la la!
