Checkout is at noon, so we first meet the castle resident dog, Gullivor, a giant Irish wolfhound. Then we hit the road on bikes. More exploring of the grounds. And to the small village of Cong where they shot “The Quiet Man” with John Wayne.

And greeted back by this kind man, who so reminded me of Jim Broadbent.
Then it was time to say goodbye to lovely Ireland and each other and catch our respective planes. I am off to Holland. Stefan back to New York. We will be back! Loved our short yet very full time here.

wow, you will even go back there? impressive. i am not in the zone of i need to hurry up and see it ALL, and only then can i repeat. except for greece and Thailand. Them, I will always repeat. 🙂 xx
