We are getting closer to Fetes Galantes and I AM SO EXCITED! My dress arrived. Rachel Kerby did such an amazing job. The process corresponding with her was flawless. I never did a fitting but she asked for so many measurements that it fits impeccably. She is absolutely expert at her craft. It is gorgeous. The photo here does no justice. More to come on that! I also did a fitting with expert wigmaker Dave Bova. We will have the final wig Monday. He also is an absolute perfectionist. It is so fun to hang out with him. I enjoy the banter, his patience and collaboration. I am yet again, so grateful to be able to have these indulgences, enjoy them and attend this extravagant event. It’s over the top and once in a lifetime! BUCKET LIST! I love working with different artists, supporting their craft, having a glimpse into their creative world. One of the things I enjoyed about my job and what I hope to find in the next.
