I spent hours removing dandelions today and putting grass seed in the holes. There are literally hundreds if not thousands on our lawn. They are beautiful individually and I understand their health benefits. But they are pests and take over, so there is not grass, instead 400 square inches of dandies in one small space. I found this amazing tool by Fiskar. Grab a beer and get plucking without having to bend over. Now I know I do not have the patience or time to get all of them, but if I can fill two contractor’s bags and bring them to the local compost bin, it’s all good. There is zen in all of this.
